The C9700 FixedWing™ Consistency Sensor is a unique, fixed mount, low-consistency probe for the TECO Stockrite™ family of consistency instruments. With no moving parts, and an angled leading edge, the C9700 sheds foreign objects easily and is very easy to maintain, making it an excellent choice for a stable, repeatable consistency measurement in hard to measure applications such as recycle furnishes.

The C9700 FixedWingTM Consistency Sensor is a unique, fixed mount, low-consistency designed probe for the TECO StockriteTM family of consistency instruments.

Its simple, rugged, reliable probe design allows the C9700 to be applicable over a wide range of consistency levels.

Consistency measurement is independent of variations in production flow rate below 2.0 fps. This eliminates the need for flow compensation at or below this rate. The sensor’s reaction to flow rate is linear above 2.0 to 6.0 fps, and can be readily compensated with the TMC-6000 transmitter.

The sensor is angled with respect to flow direction. This design gives the sensor the ability to shed trash and buildups. This feature is particularly useful in hostile environments such as digester blow lines or pre-screened hydropulper lines.

The sensor is also designed as a remotely mounted unit to be used in combination with TECO’s TMC6000 Microprocessor Transmitter, making C9700 sensor an excellent choice for high vibration, high temperature, or inaccessible applications.
